Q. Do I need to come every week?

No you do not need to come every week, many of our students come every second week. Our booking system is based on your availability and it is just a matter of booking when you would like to have your lesson.

Q. What facilities do you have?

Blinkbonnie has a fully enclosed 20 x 60 meter arena with a synthetic surface. This surface is safe to ride on in all weather and provides a soft, safe base for both flat work and jumping using Blocs and poles. There is a range of games equipment able to be used in the main arena.

In addition to the main arena there is a sand round yard for teaching complete beginners and lunge lessons. There are also a fully enclosed 20 x 40 meter sand and grass arena.

For jumping there is a fully equipped show jumping arena with jumps up to a maximum of 90cms (3ft). There is also a small cross-country course with natural logs, ditches and mounds.

Q. What do we do in the lessons?

Most group lessons at Blinkbonnie have some flat work and some jumping. The flat work can include balance work, dressage and games. The jumping can include gymnastic exercises as well as show jumping and cross-country.

In private lessons you can ask your instructor to concentrate on a particular area you feel needs improvement.
